Dell announced on December 20, 2011 that the company will begin selling a Smartphone in China using the Baidu Yi platform developed by Baidu, according to a report by Total Telecom. Dubbed Streak Pro, the Smartphone is customized for China Unicom's network. The Baidu Yi software platform was unveiled earlier in September this year by Baidu. It is reported that Streak Pro will hit the market before the Chinese Lunar New Year in late January 2012. Other details such as pricing were not disclosed.
